PBS ran Lust for Life last night (a highly romanticized film bio of Vincent Van Gogh, starring Kirk Douglas). At one point in the movie, Paul Gaugan has just arrived to live with Vincent in the South of France. Vincent says to him (referring to one of his paintings), "Those yellows really exist here." I think I could say the same for theseā€¦ K100 with tamron 70-300mm.

Some macros with the K10 and Tamron 90mm f/2.8. Dragonfly...

Your first one does have a look of one of Van Gogh's paintings. It's very nice to see some changing color - still nothing around here yet. Your pictures keep me thinking that it will come eventually. The detail of the dragonfly is really interesting, too.

Those wings look like frosted lead lights, fantastic and i always love diamonds.

That last dragonfly almost looks like a christmas ornament. Very cool shot!
