Thanks, Scott- that's a significant improvement over the original. The extra "sharpness" is nice, not overdone at all - looks like a program that I'd really like, and it's not horribly expensive either.

Nice job, Harriet. I'm certainly missing that California sun right now. But, having lived in New England 20+ years now, do like the weather changes here.

I think I really like the girl one best. She definitely shows the motion where the older tennis player gets lost in the plain background. I also may be looking into the Focus Magic plugin. Looks like a handy program to have. I often get a lot of those "almost" shots. They look okay on the LCD so don't shoot again and then realize when I get home.

I am enjoying this challenge. It certainly has been a skill-growing challenge for a lot of us.

Harriet, those are nice. The guy backhanding the tennis ball is really nice!

Thanks Glenn.

Patty - You are right, I've tried a number of new techniques (turning the camera was interesting, but I didn't get much that was all that great) that I hadn't tried before. It's been great fun as well as a learning experience.

I think the flag girlis just a fun picture and probably my favorite, though the composition isn't the best. It's certainly not going to win any prizes, but that's OK.
