Really like the second one. What do you think of the combination? Does the TC have electronic contacts or do you set the focal length yourself? I was wondering how you find it if the camera automatically thinks the focal length is half of what it is with the TC.

Thank you Harriet,
as you may know, the 28-200mm isn't the best lens to start with so I was a little surprised it did as well as it did. The converter dose have the the contacts for all but the auto focus but, the camera does ask for the focal length when I first turn it on. I tell it I'm using a 400mm i a case like above.
I also have a manual 2X converter that i just got off eBay for $5 that I took the glass out of to use it as an extension tube
. the jury's still out on that one, I haven't had the chance to really test it yet except to know it does work.

These are really cool!

The second one has amazing detail & I love the perspective of the 3rd. It feels like the bug is a fraction of a spilt of a second from flight!

Love them!

Cheers,
Glen
