A bunch of us gathered at a friend's house on the weekend and one of the kids decided they were going to catch up on some reading. Everyone thought it was so cute so they told me to grab my camera.

So I ran out of the room. Found my camera bag. Grabbed my camera. Rushed back. Tried to get my camera to focus. It wouldn't. So I ended up focusing the shot manually. All of this while holding my 5 month old daughter in my left arm. And to boot, I didn't get to use my new Vivitar 285HV to bounce some light around the room so I had to live with the harsh shadow caused by my built-in flash.

Take care,
Glen

P.S. No. There isn't a book called What To Expect From Parents. I edited that in there. <grin>

That is such a good shot that the harsh lighting hardly detracts! Good work!
