Uh-oh, tempting - although I think you should have started the thread in another subforum :roll:

Anyway, here are my tries.

#1 - color corrected and then I concentrated on details (still don't know how to call it, it's not exactly a sharpen in the means of contrast changes, but "refocus" also sounds a bit too... hm.. big). Anyway, after manually adjusting R/G/B and the details work it looks like this. This would probably be a bit like what I would do to the photo if the image from the camera is way behind from what I saw with my eyes or how I remember the scene.

From the b/w attempts I made I'll choose this one, it's not overly sharp, but I like the feel.
