Just spent some time in the north of our state observing shore birds and a variety of other birds. This photo is of a Striated Heron in a Mangrove tree. K20D, Bigma @ 500mm, 1/1000, ISO 560:

Wow, those are some really interesting birds. I like the eagle the best, apparently the small bird in the frame was not on the menu.
