The family and I went out Saturday to venture around to various open houses in the region and while out we happened upon this totem park which occupies a good portion of the Niagara Glen park above the actual glen. A little information here.

Here are just a few of my shots:

And a couple fall images from the day as well:

You can view the whole gallery here. Thanks for viewing.

Your totems are nicely sharp and I really like the first foliage photo.

Nice and sharp. The last image of the foliage is an A+ composition!

I like them all! Well done, and your totems are certainly very interesting.

Your images has reminded me one of the weirdest totem that I saw .

It is located in Ontario Museum in downtown Toronto. I think it is still there as removing it must be quite something

I'm pretty sure the ROM still has that totem there. At least I think it did the last time I was there a couple years ago. Getting nearly time for another visit.

Mike

Just took this totem (entirely different category) today Nov 15 at Ontario Gallery in Toronto

I took only two small lenses F50mm & FA28mm. My Zenitar 16mm would have been better if not for its bigger size

Daniel

ps they had their opening today and I had to wait for 1 1/2 hrs before I got in. Took a couple of images before I was stopped. No clue why even the Lourve (in Paris) does allow non flash pictures for their scultures but not Ontario Gallery/Museum.

Interesting thread. I missed it before.

Nice totem garden images, Mike. Never seen anything like that before.

Daniel - when I was in Quebec City back in August they wouldn't allow us to take photos flash or non in the museum either. No reason, just that they didn't allow it. I did get quite a few before anyone stopped me. They didn't make me delete or anything.
