It got fairly frosty last night so I took this shot of the Sandhill Cranes in the corn this morning.



If you look closely you can see the frost in the Cranes back!



Later in the day without the great light.

Wow! That first shot is beautiful! I didn't realize that the bird's feathers would allow frost to form on them - though considering what a wonderful insulator goose down is, I shouldn't be surprised. I just didn't think it would be enough.
