Hello all,

Although I haven;t posted in here for quite a while, I;ve been lurking at all the great pictures posted on this forum. I've been busy to say the least.

Over the summer I was privileged to have been the photographer for 4 sets of bride and groom who trusted me to shoot their wedding with very little wedding photography experience. I;ve had very good feedback from the couples and have decided to continue to shot about 4-5 weddings per summer. I'm not sure if I would consider myself a PRO - but i'm not going to change my system anytime soon.

For weddings I take along: Ist DL and K10D, Da 16-45, Da50-200, FA50, DA 10-17 fisheye flashes 540 and 360.

Thanh

Some shots.

They aren't loading on the page. You have to open them in a separate window for it to load. Guess Smugmug doesn't allow hotlinking.

That aside, great photos. Love the saturation and the overall style of your photos!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Jason,

I think Smugmug does let hotlinking, I just had to turn it on.

Great series,

I don't really dare to comment because I've never done any wedding photography, only I do like those shot.

These seem to have worked really well. A nice mix of formal and intimate.

Love the one of the bride (?) peeking over the mans shoulder.

Best of luck for forthcoming events.

You are now a Pro. Not an indictment but rather praise. Very good indeed. I've myself sworn off wedding photos as the experiences were not to my liking. But I do admire those with the patience and skill as well as the thick skin that can and will do them. Your's are very good and something to be proud of.

Thanks guys, alot of kind comments so far!

Weddings can be tough - it can get chaotic at times and I put alot of pressure on myself to produce photos - but I'm enjoying it so far. Occasionally I get the "is that a pro camera?" comment from a guest who is shootings with a N or C DSLR I just politely tell them the camera works for me.

Some excellent shots. I like the Indian wedding the best with the shot of the girl behind the guy and the one of them on the floor of the building. Their curves against all the straight lines works really well, IMHO.

For someone who has not had much experience those are some really nice shot. I really like #8, composition and the processing.
