You did a great job in the bif shots.

As you are panning and use the focus tracking at high shutter speed to lock on focus , you are better off not using SR at all. Your movement would have been too much for the camera (SR) to compensate indeed. But for still shots, the SR works great as the vibration (like you pressing the shutter) is small enough.

All my bif shots were done without SR on

Penolta, These are great shots. Almost as though he could land in your hand he seems so close.

I can't decide which is my favorite.
