I stopped by the botanical gardens this afternoon, and at least one family was still in the Halloween spirit.

Everyone else was getting ready for the annual Christmas lighting spectacular which opens at the end of the month. This will be a spectacular display of butterflies in the flowers.

This carp will preside over a lighted pond

(From last winter's display)

Today, though, workers are still stringing lights

Although the selection of flowers was pretty limited, at least one was getting ready to bloom

And at least one bed of flowers was still getting visited by the bees

All shots with the DA*50-135 and the K20.
