Dawg, you are right. It was perfect lighting and an incredible subject. You could almost aim your camera anywhere and end up with a good shot. I wish all of you could get over here and we could enjoy it together!

I believe it is a quite dramatic landscape and there should be dark shadows.

I prefer either image 1 or 3 as they show both the dynamic lighting of the full terrain and the texture.
