I agree with Penolta - in theory I'd love to have a really long, fast lens. Then I read about the size and weight, think about dragging along the required tripod and run as fast as I can in the opposite direction! Gotta admit, that's SOME glass, though.

Yeah, you guys are right, like 35 lbs if I remember correctly! :shock:
you would definitely have to have a special need for such a glass.:-)

These things are meant for photographers who stay in one place - space shuttle lift-offs and sports photographers (who need to intimidate football players who might otherwise run into them on the sidelines) :crazy:
