Unfortunately this was taken at my Mother-inlaw's funeral. I have not participated in the forum for a while, my wife and I were dealing with her Mother's health.

My son played the sax at the funeral. The sax is older than my son. It is a Selmer Mark VI, favored by many Jazz artists, not made since 1972. This one is vintage 1959 or 1960.

Hi Ed,

My condolences to you and your wife on your loss. I think that old musical instuments have so much character. I'm sure that there are stories it could tell. . .

Be well,

Scott

My condolences to you and the family. I'd wondered where you'd been.

The sax does look well worn, but I bet it plays a great tune.

I like the B&W version better.
