I haven't been around lately, and haven't done much photography lately. But I had to post something for this challenge. I really enjoy the challenges of B&W. With all the great entries so far, it looks like everyone is up to the challenge. This was taken in Killarney Provincial Park which is famous for its lakes and white hills.

Nice shot, Julianne. I have a friend in Calgary who told me they got a lot of snow and by the looks of this picture you have some too!

Mk VI

Vintage Selmer Sax I gave my son as a high school graduation present. The sax is older than he is. He used it through the University of Miami (Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance and Studio Musician, Masters degree in Jazz Writing and Arranging) and now uses it as a professional musician. He tells me the Sax is now worth twice what we paid for it, Model has not been made since 1972.

A really awesome shot! The reflections on the plane work extremely well in b&w.

I've decided to change my entry to one that I took at the wedding I photographed this weekend. Taken shortly after the ceremony.
