Interesting, Th. I've never heard of that. Your daughter definitely deserves the "1".

So, it looks like it's time to start voting, too. There are too many good ones this month (yet again). I'll have to take some time this month deciding. I wish I'd taken more time this month on this topic. It is something that I really like. But, alas, this month has flown by.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I guess it is time to pick your #1!

Lots of amazing entries! Another tough month to pick! <smile>

I guess I'll wait until Jan 3rd has passed and tally the votes and post the winner?

Take Care Everyone!

Glen

I think winter landscapes lend themselves well to B&W. And although someone living in Germany may have a distinct advantage I just keep coming back to Lyrics51 reflecting pond. I have no excuse since I live in Buffalo, and we have been whalloped with 2 storms in December, I just don't like going out in the cold. So my vote goes to Lyrics51.

This is going to be the hardest vote for me. I always have a number of favorites and always have trouble making up my mind, but this month, like last month, has such variety! We have scenic, abstract and details. All of the pictures are good enough to win, which doesn't help.

TDN's camera tells a story to me. I love the simplicity of Roy's lightbulb with the metal bead pull-cord. Ruth's reflections is such an interesting study of shapes. Lyric's pond is an awesome scenic. I could vote for any of these (they are all in different categories), but I'm not going to.

I'm going to go with the picture I wish I had taken - Patty's walkers in the fog. There's something about that picture, the fine details, the effect of the fog, the dramatic lighting, that all speaks to me.

The wide range of shots makes a choice difficult this month, but I really like ruth11's danger zone because of its uniqueness.

Tough month for me to choose as well. Dennis's dock/boathouse, Lyric's reflecting pool, and kazuya's piano keys are all excellent, though there are different things I like about each of them. In a very torn decision, I am voting for Dennis's dock/boathouse shot.
