Hm,
that's a tough choice, indeed. From the converted photos I like Lyrics51 pond and PDL's shed the best, but since I was more looking for "true" b&w objects myself my vote goes to kazuyas piano keys.

This is probably the highest overall quality forany challenge yet! All these shots are excellently composed and exposed. All are standouts!

Having said that, I like Patty's mistwalkers for number 1 this month.

Hello,

Yeah. Really tough to decide!

There are so many nice images. My short list consisted of Driver3's, rhermans's, Lyrics51's, PDL's & Patty's.

Boy, it's just so difficult to decide.

In the end, I guess I vote for DPL's because of all that beautiful detail and modelling that is happening.

Let me just tally up!

Take care,
Glen

Hello,

And the winner is . . . Patty with the Walkers!

Congrats Patty!

It was close between Patty's (8 votes) & Lyrics51 (4 votes) and then really close for third.

Take care everyone & I look forward to Patty's Challenge Topic!

Take care,
Glen

Well, thank you everyone. I had only been coming on periodically and quickly checking other threads not realizing I was even close to gathering enough votes here. I had gotten a PM today from someone congratulating me which brought me here.

Although, should we keep the voting open a little longer? I thought we usually voted until the 5th. I don't mind waiting if there are others who still want to vote.

I guess in the meantime I'll think about a topic just in case. Question - Would anyone mind continuing with this topic for the month of January? I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't have a lot of free time in December to commit to this and would really like to have experimented some. I'll come up with something else, too, just in case this subject has tired everyone.

Thanks again everyone. I really did not think my photo was worthy of this. It had just been a shot taken during the ice storm. There were so many fine entries this month. It really was a tough month for decisions.

Patty

congrats Patty, it was a worthy winner, sometimes the best shots are the ones we least expet when we take them,

i for one dont mind continuing the B&W theme for another month
