Would like to see the fungus one with a deeper DOF so the blur isn't directly behind the fungus. But other than that I do like all of these.

Looking at the exif information I'm surprised the picture came out as well as it did - the picture was hand-held, quickly caught as I was late heading back to my office at lunch, ISO800, aperture f4 (the largest the lens is capable of), shutter 1/100 sec, focal length 300mm.

Thanks for posting this topic. It's very helpful. I do like pic #2 best. I see more detail in the shadows. Also love the mushroom photo. Even more impressed under the conditions it was shot. Great Job.
