A beautiful picture! A pretty bird, too. About the only birds I've seen recently are boring - Band-Tailed Pigeon. I got a couple of pictures that were OK, but its hard to get excited about them. Now this bird is one I'd love to shoot a picture of!

they are a really colourful parrot
this is a great photo
you were in nice and close it seems with this portrait
how close did you get?

i have never seen wold roellas
even though we do get them over here
i need to get out more it seems

thanks for your comments, I was about 3m away, normally they don't let me get that close, but I had been taking some other shots and they flew to where I was new my feeder.
