I wanted folks here to know I won't be on the forum for a while. I have to make a trip to California. I just received the news that my mother passed away this afternoon. I need to acquire enough money to make the trip so I'm liquidating all my gear as fast as I can.

thanks,
GW

Sad news, indeed. And these are tough times to have to raise money, too. Sorry for your loss, and the best of luck to you.

GW,

I now this is a hard time for you, and at this time of year makes it harder. I pray for you and your family, peace, comfort, and the confidence in knowing that God won't giveyou more thanyou can handle.

Your situation reminds me of a story that Charles Stanley (TV Evangelist) told. when his church was first starting out they were in financial difficulty and were trying to raise money. He was an avid amatuer photographer, but he sold all his camera gear to help the church. Sometime later there was a knock at his door. When he opened the door there wasn't anyone there, just a bag. When he opened the bag he was amazed to find all the gear he had sold.

May your sacrifice come back to you in abundant blessings.

Jim
