This autumn has been the wildest I have ever experienced, retirement is far more demanding then work was ;-)

Anyhow, after looking around the internet at the various sites and forums I have been involved in, I'm back here again. The only place where I can truly say I have people that I can consider "friends" without actually meeting many of them. Anyhow, except for middle son Justin, we are all home for the holidays so here are a couple of pictures from me to you.

First of all, trimming the tree wasn't the same without Justin.

And, what else would you do after trimming the tree and drinking the required hot chocolate?

That second picture is really priceless! The sign of the times - do we sit around a piano and sing carols and sharing good cheer with our friends and family? No, now we sit on the sofa and surf the internet, write emails to our absent friends or post process all the pictures we took of the tree trimming! I love your assortment of computers pictured.

Love them! I hope Justin gets to see how sad you are without him.

The second one is great. Sure is a sign of the times. We need our technology. We sure realized last weekend how dependent we are of it.

Gee 4 of you surfing around the tree? pm each other too? Somehow my younger daughter lives in my lower floor and we pm (or skype, icq, msn )each other. Sign of the new time.

Happy Holidays to everybody and the Crummeys

Nice family shots! They will have more meaning as time goes by. Good to see you back and that you don't have time to be bored.

Happy Holidays to you and your family Ira.

Nice to hear from you. Now just make good use of the holidays before you rush back out to retirement.
