The plow guy didn't arrive early enough. My son arrived home three hours ago and got stuck with his Subaru in the driveway. The following images show why. This stuff has been falling since 8 a.m. this morning non-stop.

This first one was taken this afternoon around 3. (Same as posted in the other message.)

This was two hours later out my kitchen window.

Hey Patty, that's some serious snow! I guess I'll take the 7 degrees outside over all of that snow....although about half of that would be nice for a change.

I'll let you keep both the white stuff and the seven degrees. I'm shivering tonight at just the thought that it's headed for the teens tonight in Arkansas.

It did stop snowing during the night and not much more fell. My husband's already gotten my car out and at the end of the driveway. Hoping I can just pull out. One mistake with my new car. It isn't great in the snow like my old Maxima.

I think we get more snow on Wednesday. But, the Christmas day is to be in the 40's per my hubby.

Serious stuff there Patty. Glad you have power though!

Great composition in image #2--the image of warm wood tones against the white cold snow is very nice!

Definitely some serious snow - makes one wonder why CHP would close I-5 for a few inches. At least people in NH know how to drive in the snow - something SoCal people haven't seemed to master yet (not that they can do any better in the rain). Enjoy your break in the bad weather!
