Hey everybody,
Thanks for the warm welcome, you guys really are the best!

I'm really impressed with the K20 so far. I haven't had the chance to really try it out yet except to play with it a little. I know the Samsung GX 10 and 20 are supposed to be twins with the K10 and 20 but, the whole feel of this K20 is a totally different feel.
buttons and switches just feel better, can't really describe what I mean but, if you ever compare the two side by side I think you'll understand. I like the menu set-up better too. also is it just me or is this view finder a little bigger?
I can't wait to get something worthwhile to share with you.
My warmest Holiday wishes to you all!
GW :bye:

BTW Patty, I got mine from Adorama too. good people to do business with.

Thank you Tim,
sure is a sweet camera!

Hey Rudy,
Thanks for the compliment!

I was only gone off line for about a week after my mother passed away. although I haven't posted anything new for a while because I was without a camera for a couple months, waiting for Samsung to send me a refund check. but now I'm back with a vengeance... a new K20 and some new glass, so look out!
GW:bye:

Now if I can just get my computer back to operating normally!:X man what a pain...
in the last few days I've had to reformat and start over from scratch several times.
all because I upgraded from XP home to XP Pro
.

GW, yes, the viewfinder is larger. (At least than the K100.) It's nice. I love that part alone. I haven't done an official test on it, but I think I can actually see the settings at the bottom of the display now without having to move my glasses on the camera. I have the magnifier lens on the K100, and hate to move it to the K20 as I'll lose view again. Still experimenting with settings and all.

Sorry to hear of the computer problems. Having just gone through some, I don't wish that on anyone. We are still trying to get our new computer set up after almost two months of having it. Keep discovering little things I had loaded on the other one that aren't here and have to go find them. At least we managed to get the drive out of the old one and put in this one to access the stuff. But, that was a challenge in itself as the two computers had different drive setups.
