It's too cold to do an outside shoot, not for the camera - for me, so I staged this indoors.

This will be a bit different - maybe I can do better when the Santa Ana winds stop blowing. K100D with Tamron SP DI 90mm macro + fill flash - hand held in bright sun between gusts.

Take a minute to look at it - it'll grow on you! :G

I think I'll add this one as my submission this month.

Cheers

We are getting a whole bunch of outstanding shots! Penolta - I'm still giggling about your comment of with the vine and hope you haven't gotten blown away. And both glasses photos are wonderful. I've taken a couple of other pictures that were specifically for this challenge, but nothing yet that I want to substitute what I already posted. It's fun looking for curved things, though.

Quite an array of photos. Cool! I'm glad to see you are enjoying this challenge. I'll tell the hubby.

I still haven't gotten anything yet. Have some ideas, but.... Didn't go out at all today. Yet another weekend snow storm. I may have to do something indoors.

Penolta, Is that kudzu? We used to have that in Georgia. Grew on everything!

No, fortunately, Kudzu has not reached California - I once drove down a wooded highway in Mississippi which was lined with the stuff - a solid green wall on either side covering the trees from the shoulders of the road to the treetops - it was like driving through the parting of the Red Sea!. This one is a Passion Vine (fritillary caterpillar food), just as rank, but on a much smaller scale!
