Sorry everyone. Have hada lot on my plate lately. Thanks again for all the votes.

I see that there was only one response to keeping the tallies open longer and possibly continuing with the b&w theme. So.... My husband hassuggestedthe next challenge.

The new challenge for January is "Curves". Any type or form of curve you see. Be creative. Think outside the box.

As usual: "Pictures are to be sized 800 pixels on their longest side, be taken with a Pentax or Samsung dSLR, and be taken within the last 90 days."

Have fun! I'm looking forward to what everyone can come up with.

Patty

I sure like this topic - Saturday I took a walk and can come up with at least 9 possibles. I'm going to continue shooting to get something specific for this topic, but in case nothing better comes along, here's something that's curved. Please note that it hadn't quite finished melting yet, so while it has all kinds of curves, there's also a couple of straight lines inside the curves. It's not perfect, but I thought it was rather fun and deserved to be posted.

P.S. I'm changing my entry. See below.

B&W seems very appropriate for this picture!

I'm going to put this one in for now. Taken the Sunday after Christmas in a stop at Shiloh National Military Park in Tennessee.

Cool photos so far, everyone. Glenn, you took something similar to my ideaI was going to use. Except mine entails water with it. :-) That's not someone's driveway, is it?

No, Patty, that's not a drive way!Imagine keeping the snow off it if it was! But it is a road to that village up on the right. Eddie, thanks for the nice comment.

That was a thought I had also - the road going into our area isn't straight, but not as pretty as that one right now. Unless the light is somehow exceptional, I don't think I'll be able to equal your photo, Glenn.

This is shaping up to be another good topic!
