i touched on this briefly in the 360fgz thead, but i thought id start a new topic and go into it in more detail.

i must admit id not heard of linking theAEto theAF point before, so what i was wondering was whos using it and when, do you leave it on the whole time and does it only work with multisegment metering on the k20d.

I'ts my default setting along with SEL - I prefer to set the point at which I focus & like to meter at that point. Can't say whether it works for K20, but is does for the K10.
