Sorry, I guess I'm just a bit excited but, I just want to tell somebody. :G
I went out side to take a test shot and of course my dog had to come and try to bribe me to play by offering me her bone. she wasn't to happy with me because I made her sit and stay while I snapped this shot of her.:|
then I played with her.

I'll post some other pix when I get a chance to really try it out.
cheers,
GW:bye:

Now that's a wonderful face! Very nice picture, but then, I know the lens is very nice. Looking forward to more pictures as you get time.

That's a beautiful pooch, GW. And she even offered you her bone. I'm sure you'll be very happy with the lens.

Nice photo, congrats to the new lens.

But didn't you know it's very rude to not accept an offered bone and chew it thoroughly before starting to play with it?:homey:

Kjell, you're too much!

Thanks Harriet and mtnman, My daughter just flew in from California for a visit so I'm going to be a little scarce on here for a couple days but I plan on getting lots of pix and hopefully I can talk her into being my model for a few shots too, after all I did pay for modeling classes for a while when she was about 13 so I figure she owes me!:G
Later,

GW:bye:

Congrats, GW. Looks like it's a keeper. Enjoy your visit with your daughter. My sister and two of her kids are here right now. Even though it's been a little cold to go out and see much, we've been having a blast. Her son leaves for DC tomorrow to go to the inaugaration and a staff ball the next day. It's been lots of days of trying to sort out the transportation and sleeping arrangements when it was all last minute and they've been traveling around the country by train since the day after Christmas.

Hopefully he's going to get some nice photos for the memory books.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on. Again, hope you enjoy your visit as much as we'e been enjoying ours.

Patty

Welcome to the forum Snootches!
after yesterday, I'm pretty sure you will too! My daughter and I went to Treasure Island to see my sister. she has a top floor (12th) condo at the beach with a terrific view! took the K20 and 55-300 and was quite pleased with the results.
hope to get a couple pix posted soon.
