Very nice pictures! Amber looks like a wonderful, gentle, patient horse, just the right sort for a first ride. Is your daughter going to start taking lessons?

A month of lessons and she'll realize that she really NEEDS a horse to get better. You progress much faster if you can ride every day. She'll start out mentioning how uncomfortable the school's saddles are, and how much better it would be if she could have her own. Then it's the horse, bridle, and then a whole long list of other things you need to care for a horse, and that's at someone else's stable.

They say in the horse business that the one sure way of making a small fortune is to start out with a large one...

Cool shots (always great so see other UK posters).

Anyone suffering with LBA will realise that this is a cheap addiction compared to having a horse LOL. I'm sticking with cameras, they don't need as much caring for.

NOW I understand why my husband doesn't mind buying me cameras and lenses every so often. He remembers the days of the barn and 5 horses, out of town horse shows, vet bills, midnight foalings, etc. No wonder he doesn't complain about a couple of lenses a year!
