I recently met my new nephew Preston for the first time and came back with some nice shots. I shot all of these with a K10D, a Tamron 18-250mm lens, and a tripod for a few. I did the B&W conversions in the body using the red filter on most shots.

Aaah - what a cutie! Nice pictures. I was impressed with how the camera handles b&w conversions - you can do better in software with a fair amount of work, but for quick, no work pictures, it does a credible job. and it's fun to play with the various filters it offers, too.
