maybe i can help make the rules clearer

the game starts off with two teams

one team is "in" and one team is "out"

the team that is "out" trys to get the team that is "in", "out"

once all the team that was "in" are all "out" then the team that was "out" now go "in" and the team that was "in" are nowthe "out" team

then the team that were "in" but are now "out" tries to get the team that were "out but are now "in", "out"

once all the team that are now "in" are "out" the game ends

i hope simplified version of cricket helps

Kazuya,

As usual cricket remains a complete mystery to our cousins across the pond and well done for putting them all straight on the rules!

Are the innings done by the team that is in or out?

Mtngal

I am back in Australia for now. Not able to do any photography at the moment either...ouch.

Kjell

Once all the batsmen are out, then the side is out and that is their Innings. It is not uncommon in a test series for a team to take days to get all out.

Thats why they introuduced limited over cricket and now 20/20 cricket which are faster paced games that are played in one day.

He is a short series of shots taken at the local oval. Medium pace bowling and a fine cut resulting in a 4. I know this won't mean much to most, and it would take someone with a much better knowledge than me to explain it. Google it if you are interested and want to be completely baffled:-)

I must say great shots,

here in my island you must have heard of Brian Lara, so everything is Lara lara lara!!!

Hi Dave, from what I've seen on the TV, your cricket looks anything but boring, whistles, trumpets, drums, flares!!! Joel Garner and Malcome Marshal, also come to mind. Maybe I should come over and make a judgement for myself:roll:

I'm sure the Windies will come back, Aus it's doing the best at the moment, South Africa wipped us in the last series & we only drew against New Zealand tonight.

As for the funerals, I hear people are dying to go to them.
( yes I know It's an oldie, but a goodie)
