Well Gang...
guess I should have stayed in bed yesterday. A couple hours after getting to work Tuesday morning, I was cleaning my printing press. there was a stubborn glazed build up on the dampening system rollers and I was cleaning them with one of those green scouring pads. (keep in mind I've been at this for 20 years) well, next thing I knew, I was pulling my hand out of the rollers minus two fingernails! I can't begin to tell you how bad that hurts.:X anyway, just wanted to explain why I may not be commenting on the forum very much till they heal a bit, I'm keying with 1 finger on my left hand and it is painfully slow to say the least.
GW:bye:

Well I can certainly sympathize since I have been typing with one hand since Friday, although the pain from the tendon surgery probably doesn't hurt as much as loosing two fingernails.

Sounds like something from a bad spy movie!

It's just amazing how something like a fingernail can hurt SO much! Sorry to hear about your industrial accident - does this mean workers comp?

What's going on? All of a sudden it's as if the "P" in Pentax stands for pain! I hope both you and Tom heal quickly.

Ouch!

Very expressive self-portrait though.

Very painful I'm sure John, but rather lose the nails than the fingers :!:... hope they heal soon, that's a very sensitive area. ... Jack
