Great pictures. Good thing you got out. Ibises never come up here, and it will be 2 or 3 months yet before we see any great blue herons back in this area.

Great shots, Ed. When you say it was cold... just how cold was it? I lived in Florida (Daytona Beach, Orlando and Altamonte Springs) for 10 years. I Ioved it when the temperature would drop below 60 degrees on some winter days. If it dropped into the 40s, even better.

Love the otters - they are so cute. Your birds are impressive, too.

After a week or more of temps around 80F, it cooled off and rained today. We sure need the rain, but it sure made the long commute home even longer.

Too many good shots to choose a favorite. I like the white Ibis all huddled together and the solo egret with "take out." All in all a very enjoyable series.
