this last weekend and went to see Solomas's Castle. What a place this is!
here are a couple links if you want to know more about this place.
http://www.solomonscastle.org/
http://www.mcmains.com/wren/albums/2...ns/slide03.htm
the man is 72 years old, lives here with his family. world renowned artist, sculptor.

this castle is covered with discarded aluminum printing plates ...

notice the etched zodiac signs in the windows...

Hi GW,

I guess even Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson's character in "Conspiracy Theory" -- I know. . . pretty obscure reference. . .) would feel safe in this place!:-)

Uh-oh -- is that a Black Helicopter I hear. . .:? Nah, they fly in stealth mode and ya can't hear em. . . aranoid:

Oh yeah -- very nice pics of a "not-your-usual" house!

I realize this place isn't way up in the snow-capped mountains, but it still reminds me of Mad King Ludwig's castle in Germany(?). Or is it in Austria? Anyway, the photos are awesome, and the castle is, well, I guess I'd have to say it's very memorable. Great pics, GW. Very glad you're getting out and about.

GW
This has to be a TinKnockers dream house. For some reason the aluminum siding we have up north doesn't look like that.:-) Can't wait to see the inside photos
