I really like the pose on #1--looks like a mythical bird! Great color, contrast and sharpness from that Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 (on my short list). The lighting is great...what time of day was it?

Hmmm - the quality looks very nice, and I'm somewhat surprised that you got such detail with a 200mm lens. I'm impressed.

DXO is fun to play with, especially for the camera/lens combinations that it recognizes. I didn't think it did as well with the K100's pictures as it did with the K20.

I got off work early that day... so these were taken between 11:45 and 12 noon.

only a few out of 300 shots cam out that nice. most were too far away for the 200mm.
