Patty,Phil, mtnman, Harriet, Kjell, philneast, kazuya, Dennis, Dawg, Nonentity1, Glenn, GW, & interested observer:

Thanks for your postings. I must admit that half the thrill of getting into the PPG is being able to share the news with fellow Pentaxians! After several submission attempts, I finally feel worthy!!

Mtnman: I used a shutter speed of 1 sec and f/13 aperture at -0.3 EV to compensate for the dark background of the rocks. I also used a polarizing filter to slow the shutter. The camera was tripod mounted and triggered with the wired remote. I was planning a visit back to the area the weekend of April 10th with my daughter, but just today she had a hip muscle injury in gym class that appears will keep her off her feet for 6 weeks. I'm trying to decide if I should go by myself. It won't be quite the same though...last Oct was a really nice father-daughter photo trek with lots of great memories and some good pictures as well.

Thanks again for all of you comments!
