Here are some shots from the past week. The daffodils are indoors from my donation to American Cancer Society. Best I could do for flowers. The tulips I bought on Saturday didn't make it.

I can't decide which of the following I like, so I'm posting all three.

Patty

These last three are from last Sunday. I went out for a drive since the sun was shining. No snow here, but the others are from across the street where there is still snow in the shade. (And, I'm not saying that word again for fear it finds it's way to my house before next December.) The weekend before everything was still covered in snow.

Closer crop. I love the K20 for this.

Patty, those are very nice. I especially like the barn and the cropped version of the foot bridge over the brook. We still have lots of snow in the woods, though not as much in the open fields. Last week I was in Brattleboro in southern Vermont, and there was almost no snow at all. Spring is coming!

I like the third daffodil best, along with the barn and cropped version of the footbridge. Glad I'm not the only one who tends to crop more with the K20 - it seems a shame to resize down so much that you lose all that awesome detail sometimes.

Use a longer lens Harriet. Let the lens do the cropping for you. Love the third daffy Patty and the big barn.

Thanks, guys. Yes, I still have three foot high piles of snow in my yard where the plow left them. Most of the yard in the sun is cleared, but snow still everywhere else. There's a lot of ice still on all the ponds around. Went out at lunch yesterday looking for ducks or geese, but there was no place for them to land. Maybe in a week or so.
