Flocks of Robins are here now waiting for the ground to thaw so the worms will be out. It is amazing how heavy the camera and lens feel, so I am stuck using at least a mono-pod for all shots right now.

Like the first one - I know what you mean about the K20 being heavy. When I had tennis elbow problems I was shocked to see how heavy the K10 was (and used the K100 exclusively for a couple of months). I gather that you must be doing really well with your recovery if you are able to deal with the K20, even with a monopod it's still heavy.

Thanks everyone, I think I will have to go back to some lighter lenses for a bit though, the combination of the K20D and the Sigma 300mm 2.8 is a bit much right now and I need to go to a something easier for me to deal with.

Very nice. The first one looks like he posed for you.

We are just starting to see robins out here. Never have my camera with me when I do, though. I've been limiting how much I carry it due to problems with my right elbow. Probably should do like you and go to a lighter camera for the time being. But, I'm really enjoying the K20. I have been regretting when I've gone out for a few hours on the weekend with it. And, one weekend I had two cameras shooting b&w film with my old Canon so I could develop it myself.

Take care of your shoulder.
