Our local high school is putting on Seussical the Musical, a musical play combining many stories by Dr Seuss. Here are a few shots of some of the fun and antics that took place on the stage. All shots taken with a K100D, no flash so ISO was set to 1600. Most were taken with the Pentax DA 16-45 lens.

As the play opens, a kid starts using his imagination, which of course can be a dangerous thing. Very soon the Cat in the Hat appears.

Before long, lots of Seuss characters are on stage including Horton the Elephant, Yertl the Turtle, and others.

The antics continue with all sorts of crazy twists and turns; lots of singing and dancing. Truly a great production. Off in the dark to the left of the stage you can see one of the school's music teachers conducting the school's musical ensemble. What you can't see is that he's wearing a bright blue wig, which fits right in. My daughter is one of the off-stage musicians.

Nice pictures! Looks like everyone is having fun. I've never tried to take pictures in a theater but I can imagine it must be difficult. These are really good!
