Your recovery job is outstanding! Thanks for posting the originals, it is amazing what you can get from otherwise throw-away pictures. As we were coming out of the tunnel at Yosemite Valley, I thought I'd snap a picture. I didn't think about using spot metering (that would have been the right thing to do) so took the picture using center weighted. It was too early and the dark of the tunnel made the scene outside pretty blown out. I was surprised at how much I could recover using Lightroom mostly.

Great PP and the "R" is very close to the "T" so it was pretty easy to figure out. Those are very nice images and look like keepers to me.

:G Yeah, I find I do that a lot since I injured my fingers, I fumble and drop things too.
It's amazing what the lose of a couple finger nails can do.
