Photo of my Granddaughter who played Rajah the tiger in the play "Aladdin". Pictures were taken with a K100D from 40 to 50 feet away. All shots were hand held and were at ISO 1600. Pictures are all cropped. They were taken with only the stage lighting (no flash). The makeup took about 1 hour to put on and half that again to take off.

Great photos Keltech, though they're a little large for my screen. :G
Somebody did a great job on the make up! I used clown make up once for a gig I did, going on was OK but, taking it off was another story! Never again.:G
GW:bye:

Thanks Goldwinger for your comments. I have re-sized the images and I hope you can see them better now.

Great pictures, especially since they were taken using only the stage lighting. My daughter just performed in the musical pit for a high school musical play. I took some pics of that play with my K100D using only available light, so I know how challenging it can be to get shots under those circumstances. Whoever did your granddaughter's make up did an absolutely superb job!

Really nice. I like the expression on her face in the last one.

Makeup was done by a parent. All the children's makeup was spectacular. I am not at liberty to show the pictures of the other children but they were costumed and made up equally well. Thanks for your kind comments!

Patty ,

I also liked the sideward glance she was giving to another cast member at the time I snapped the picture. Thanks for looking and commenting!
