I just wanted to post a picture using my new 50mm lens. I think this is the 3rd photo taken with it. It's not easy to get Maggie to sit still, so I did my best under the circumstances. I have to tell you I did get her best side. You see she has a cherry eye and a massive under bite. The cherry eye comes and goes, and the under bite you have to catch her just right to hide it. I love her to death but sometimes she looks like a gremlin.:-)

Thanks for looking

Happy Easter

Stevie

A+ image (IMHO)..excellent color rendition and sharpness and well controlled highlights! I need to get my 50 mm f/1.7 manual lens and use it more!

Very nice, Stevie. Having spent Sunday afternoon trying to capture moving animals, I can say you did great.

Seems you just can't beat a 50mm for great portraits!
Very nice indeed.
