I was shooting for a few minutes this afternoon at the fish hatchery and caught this heron getting an earful from a couple of mallards when he landed too close

I saw a couple of geese today that were not among the normal visitors, a snow goose and a white fronted goose.

The swallows are out in large numbers, skimming across the ponds. They were more than a challenge to track because of their speed. I've noted three different species, including this Northern Rough-Winged Swallow
