Hi Tom, You really nailed the focus perfectly with a fairly shallow depth of field!!! So just where in Wisconsin are there Saguaro Cactus? Had to be a visit down here to Tumbleweed country...

It was on the Easter trip to Scottsdale. The lighting was the biggest issue since it was so bright outside and fairly shaded inside the cactus arms.

Very nice! I like the lines of the cactus, it gives the birds more context. I know what you mean about the lighting - I found it difficult when I was there, and what I was photographing wasn't half as challenging as this.

Completely agree with the others - the amazing focus on the bird family, and the great out-of-focus lines of the cactus, really draw and hold my eye to a beautiful subject.
