So many folks here were so kind to offer encouragement and suggestions for my first batch of photos with my first dSLR. I hope you'll enjoy another group of shots, and offer your suggestions for improvement!

First a few nearby waterfalls. Here is Margarette Falls:

I think my car has been parked too long (look closely at the bumper on the passenger side):

Let the big cities keep their "boots." Once a sapling has reached two inches in diameter, it's time to write a ticket!

Really a nice series of photos, mole. My favorites are probably the dwarf iris (color and sharpness are extremely good) and the last two. Old homeplaces like that are such interesting subjects....all kinds of possibilities. Glad to see I'm not the only one whose most prominent neighbors are black vultures. I've always figured they just took a look at me and said, "Hey, we can afford to be patient."

Very nice shots! The whole series is fun, each picture offering something different. I think myfavorite (today at least) is the simple saplings. What lens did you use for the flowers - they came out very nicely, too.
