Saturday was a gorgeous day here in the mts, so I had to check out a few of my favorite places, and add more wear & tear to my new favorite camera. The shutter count is now over 1,000 shots in just a few weeks!

Here are some samples:

Don't feel bad mole, I put over a thousand clicks on mine the first day i got it!

Hi Mole -- Wonderful shots. You have portrayed the beauty of the southern Appalachians very nicely. Except for a week of hiking in Nantahala National Forest back in the 1970s, I've never been to these mountains. I have wanted to see the southern balds for many years; I hope to get there some day. Until then, I'll have to be satisfied with your photos.
