I have been trying for the longest time to get a good shot of an egret in flight. Every time it's either blurry, out of focus or the highlights are blown, or all three!
So, whats Linda do? she goes out this evening with the K10 and 55-300 and takes this beaut
GW

Maybe a little beginners luck, but does she have LBA? A sign of a real photo aficionado.

(If she does, you two are really in trouble)

Jim
Oh dear! I hadn't thought about that... we could end up living in the streets.

I'm thinking Linda won't be allowed to use the camera anymore. Haha.
Not a chance Mike, I bought her her own camera a couple months ago.
but now that I think about it... I could take away the 55-300mm :G
Nah, before I let her use it, she was using the F35-80mm kit lens from an old film camera and she was blowing me away with that too! guess I'll just have to get used to it.
:-?

GW, long ago I accepted the fact that my wife is a much better photographer than I am. For a while I didn't want to admit it, but the plain truth was pretty obvious. I have no idea if your situation is similar to mine, but you might want to get used it.
