I have been trying for the longest time to get a good shot of an egret in flight. Every time it's either blurry, out of focus or the highlights are blown, or all three!
So, whats Linda do? she goes out this evening with the K10 and 55-300 and takes this beaut all while the neighbor's dog is barking up a storm and charging across the street towards her! Hand held @ 300mm f:11, 500th sec.
the only problem was it was a bit dark and quite noisy so I had to do some PP. Still, I'm a bit envious. :O
GW:bye:

I'm thinking Linda won't be allowed to use the camera anymore. Haha.

Maybe a little beginners luck, but does she have LBA? A sign of a real photo aficionado.

(If she does, you two are really in trouble)

Truly an awesome picture! Tell her three thumbs up for me - it makes me reluctant to post anything at all...

Watch out, GW! It might end up with you asking permission to polish her lenses!

Terrific reflection shot, she certainly has a good eye.

Wow, GW! I'm jealous, too. Tell Linda I think she did a great job. I think the others are right. You'd better watch out.:-D
