Some flies from this afternoon

Every chance I get lately I use my break at work to polish up my shooting skills.
Today I just went out in a field with my k20d, kiron105mm + (monopod).

scorpion fly: somehow they always get away before I get closer.

Thanks Jelpee, I've been not really active (anywhere) on the internet the last 6 months, somehow before I broke my ankle I had an overdose of flickr.
But I'm recovering now :) even quit flickr to stop that habit of looking at small square pictures.

Terific shots, fantastic detail, so sharp. I'm sure you needed great patience to capture these, well done.

Wow! They didn't get away this time. Great shots, fantastic when realizing manual focus.
