I had a similar experience on my motorcycle about 40 years ago... don't think it was the same bee...
BTW, did they have Ray Ban's that long ago? man, I'm feeling older and older.

These are nice (the pictures, and I do think also the bees). AFAIK the solitary bees don't sting (Penolta?), but there are also ground hive bees and they do sting (own experience, not pleasant at all).

How did you do to get the pictures placed one over the other and not side by side?

Hey Kjell,
when posting more than one pic, hit the enter/return key to move the curser to the next line before adding the next pic.
