Default Back from a mountain hike

Just got back from some days in the high country - it will probably take me a week of spare time to sort through all the photos. But here are a few random shots to share. Please give me suggestions for improving.

Love the turtle! And the last of the landscapes sure captured colors I like while being nicely framed by the trees and clouds. All of them are very good, but those are my two favorites.

You've certainly got a great area to get photo ops. Good job on them. My preferences are the landscapes and gotta agree with Mtngal on the pick.

wow, that's enough material for 4 post's

only one I've don't like that much, and that is the second. Would have liked it more if those dark mountain ranges would have been that dark

Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement.

Ronny - I agree, and will work on the dark mts a bit - all of these were just straight from the camera, no PP yet.

Jim - Yes, I am blessed to have some great places to explore and share. Georgia has some awesome natural areas as well!

Rodney - That was not my favorite shot of the waterfall. It's so much easier to capture waterfalls on dark dreary days - this was in full sun. But it sure is a great spot - and I was able to encourage a few dozen AT through hikers to stop and look too! Glad you liked it!

GW - Yes, it sure does look like TN! What a strange coincidence!!

Harriet - it is "wandering season" for our Box Turtles (and for the Efts as well). An easy time to spot and "shoot" them. Thanks for the kind comments.
